Hi my PS3 PHAT 60 gig just got the YLoD.

FIFA 11 is stuck in it though? Any way of getting it out? Any suggestions on what to do?

    New PS3?
    Ring Sony?
    Get repaired?

    Thanks,

Had to do this yesterday, same game stuck as yourself fifa 11.

I have fixed the ylod a few times using the heat gun method but now it won't even turn on so had to get the game out this way.

You can try this method to see if it'll work for you

It didn't when my 60gb got the YLOD though. I think it might only work on the 40gb or 80gb model.

It seems the 60gb PS3 are all slowly dying off. I know about 10 - 15 other people whose original 60GB models have died with the YLOD too.
