Hi there, I hope someone can help!

My husband has mostly only ever bought jeans & trousers in the USA, and would stock up on past visits there. We haven't been in a few years now and its not on the cards in the near future either...but he desperately needs new jeans, combats, chinos, etc. Any ideas where in Dublin we can find jeans, etc that fit men with large-thighs? The likes of M&S, etc, don't fit.

    Thanks! MP

Levi's do different ranges to suit different shapes. I think the 560's fit larger thighs.
    Do a google search!

Thanks for advice, we went to Dundrum SC today and went to lots of places including GAP, House of Fraser (which carries Levi's & Diesel), Pennys and Best - in the end, the only shop that he found jeans to fit was in G-Star, apparently thats where some of the rugby team go to get there's too.

Read another post about trying skater shops, will look into that too...:o

My husband weightlifts and had big thighs anyway so this has become a problem for him too. He used to wear Diesel a lot but in the last few yrs they haven't been doing as wide a thigh. Apart from Lucky jeans in the US (which are a bit too messy loose looking to be honest) I found Tommy Hilfiger do a nice jean that's really wide on the thigh. I can't remember the name of the jean but if you go into one of their shops and explain what you are looking for they should be able to help you. They are in Arnotts, bottom of Grafton St and on Andrews Street.

My OH is into weightlifting as well. In the past he's bought pants from Tommy Hilifger and Calvin Klein in the states, as well as cargo-pants from H&M here.

He recently bought a pair of jeans in Ted Baker in Kildare Village - I was quite surprised at that.

I find that the "Next", "loose fit" jeans fit the best (I have large thighs obviously). They are shaped to fit, without being baggy all over.

    Well worth a try.
