Im looking for a few new games , only got an xbox recently and have gone through all the COD games , really enjoyed them

Bought original Dead Space on recommendation but I dont really like all the rubbish like slowing down time to go through doors and the other yoke that can magically lift and move heavy things

I just want to run around and shoot things !

So what would your top 5 games be ?

When you say 'shoot em up', do you mean specifically first person shooters?

If not, give Crackdown 1/2 a whirl. Savage craic.

    Bulletstorm.

    Crysis 2.

    3:Xevious
    4: Ikaruga

i would definately recommend getting all the halo games! start with 1 and work your way through the series!

you'll pick 1,2,3 up for chips if you get them used! reach will prob cost a bit more cos its still new!

As this is only for Xbox i'd go with the following.
    1. Battlefield Bad Company 2
    2. Call of Duty Black OPs
    3. Call of Duty World at War.
    4. Singularity (enjoyable single-player game)
    5. Battlefield Bad Company 1

Never liked the Halo games to be honest but each to their own.

Is Battlefield Bad Company 2 not more of a multi-player one , I dont get enough time to get really good enough for online so just play the single player versions

+1 on Halo, I found them a bit 'cartoony'

battlefield bad company 2. story mode aint too bad either.
medal of honor. online was an epic fail but story wasnt bad.
crysis 2, isnt bad. playing it abit at the moment.
rainbow 6 vegas 2 is a brilliant game but is dated now with the graphics been far from todays standard.
battlefield bad company aa good one too

    Duke Nukem 3D
    Doom
    Doom II
Grab them from Xbox Live Arcade, and you'll be well sorted.

Assuming this is an xbox list, in no particular order:

Halo 3: ODST-just thoroughly enjoyed the campaign, especially not being a spartan for a change

Halo Reach-genuinely, IMO, the best halo game on the 360.

Medal Of Honor- great reboot, had more fun with this that any of the COD's.

GOW 2- big improvement on the first, still play it at times

    Left For Dead- zombies. FTW
