I've driven plenty and really like them, loads of mid range torque, yeah other than seats, wheels, turbo gauge and slight different spoiler kit, it is same as a tid

supposed to be a very good under-rated car, but supposedly corners very badly

Same Fiat block as the TiD but the TTiD has 2 turbos instead of one. TTiD has around 180/190bhp.

    I wonder how it compares to A4 2.0TDi and Beemer 320D ?
Bags more torque and certainly different. I think the 08 model with Aero pack is apretty good looking car.
Cabin looks poor enough though. Any driver experiences on the TTiD Aero cabin?

To be fair to the 9-3 it has been around since 2002 so the cabin is going to look and feel dated.

supposedly by who? I think thats wrong. I drove 2005 model 2.0t petrol and lovely on backroads! rear wheels stick like glue.
City drive it had some artificial feeling to the road but still cornering grip is awesome. I remember it actually has somekind of 4-wheel steering where rear wheels steer just few millimeters - now not sure if TTiD has the same system as petrol turbos?

Yes correct there is fantastic cornering due to the slight fourwheel steer from the rear, interior in similar with aero pack, a few brushed alloy panels and more sporty seats, I have also driven an Aero X and let me tell that can is like driving a fighter jet :-p

anytime someone asks about a saab 93 on here usually people say it handles poorly enough compared to others in its class

Don't pay over the odds for the TTiD.

I had a Vauxhall Vectra 150 CDTi... remapped to 205bhp.. stil reliable (I did 20,000 miles in one year) and also gave me 55mpg overall.

Would ove to try the same remap in a Astra... or Doblo :)

dash looks brilliant with dimmed green lights and eye friendly in night driving.. fighter jet feeling indeed

I think the aero class saab looks the business.

I've an 05 petrol vector. Was close to buying an 03 aero but the milage was too hight. Drive the saab in city, country and motorways and did about 30k last year and found it great

If you can get it at a good price go for.
