    Hi everyone.

Was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere that does this around town? (Dublin)

I know nearly everywhere does it, but I'd love to go on the back of someone's recommendation! My eyelashes are really light, and I'd love to go without makeup (I feel a bit weird sans mascara).

I'm looking for depth of colour (a really dark black) and staying power.

    Thanks to any repliers!

    :)

I've had my eyelashes tinted loads of times in lots of places but there was never any staying power and it was usually gone after a shower or two :(

If you are used to wearing a lot of mascara, it will never look the same. It does look well but I don't feel it could replace mascara. You could get the blue-black colour anyway, it's the darkest.

I do it myself, its pretty easy to do and the kit only costs 10 euro or so in any chemist. I'd only get it done in a salon as part of a deal

Is it hard to do yourself? What brand is the kit you use?
    Thanks!

I'm actually going to do my friends and her mums tonight haha.

I personally wouldn't recommend that you do it yourself.
But if you asked me if it was worth the money? Nah. You can prolong it by applying vaseline to your lashes before taking a shower. But its not going to make you feel like you've got lashings of mascara on.

Use the blue black tint, which is the darkest and it will help them look a little thicker and longer, but you'll still probably want to use your mascara!

    Hi OP,

I always used to get my lashes tinted as they are quite blonde but I would still always wear mascara also as tinting just doesnt give the same length or volume...but I recently got a treatment called Myscara done in Maynooth and it is amazing.
The salon has a facebook page with pictures on it so you can see what it looks like but it is basically a semi permanent mascara that lasts for weeks and genuinely does not budge, even with me not following the aftercare properly!
The salon is called The Beauty Boutique.

    Hope that helps
    J :)

There's a place on Dame St. but the name escapes me. It's near Spar and its the downstairs of the chemist.

I get mine done every 5 weeks or so. It doesn't replace mascara but in saying that I wouldn't ever stop getting it done because it makes my eyelashes more defined looking.
