Going to Mallorca at end of June, so have been looking at bike hire. Think I'll use procyclehire.com, so was wondering if anyboby has any experience of them or have any other recommendations.
Also has anyone used rentspain.com for car hire, prices are around 30% cheaper, but have never seen them before.

Beforer you rent the car check that they dont give the car with a full tank of petrol and tell you to return it empty some, they charge 110 euro for the petrol, am just back from mallorca and thats the way goldcar rental works even though we booked through argus car rental gold car was the agent they use.

Thanks all for the replies. Have booked a Massi M Carbon with Procyclehire. They seem very friendly and have spins leaving their shop every day at 9am, so good to have that choice. We are staying between Pollenca and Alcudia and the roads up there seem great and fairly cyclist friendly from what I hear.

Re the car, Rentspain do give a tank of petrol, but you have to fill it before return, so seems grand. 250euro for a Clio for 2weeks, with 2 drivers and booster seat had me worried, too good to be true and all that!

I'm actually just about to do that for the end of June too (and also staying between Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia!). Did you just book it through the website or did you phone them up? Also, how much?

Regarding routes, Procyclehire will give you their own branded cycling map which is very good (I'm looking at one I got from a friend who rented from them last year). It has lots of good routes mapped out on it with elevation profiles shown for each. And it has a waxy tear-proof finish which means it won't disintegrate in your pocket as you sweat your way over all those lovely passes in the north of the island.

    Hi Cantalach,

Booked it through their website, 171euro for 8 days. Their service seems really good, have got great feedback on them.
We are staying in Pollentia Club Resort from the 21st to 3rd May, may well see you on the road there so.
