Flight to Cologne

Does anyone know if there is a direct flight to cologne from Ireland and if not what is the closest place a direct flight from ireland goes into closest to cologne

German Wings fly direct from Dublin Airport to Cologne/Bonn International during the summer months, they are a German low cost carrier; however there is nothing low cost about this route and a return flight will cost you €200+ easily with them.

Alternatively you could fly to Dusseldorf from Dublin with Aer Lingus and take a short train ride to Cologne expect to pay €100 - €150 for the flight and probably around €20 for the train.

Finally another option would be to fly to Frankfurt Hahn (from Dublin or Kerry) with Ryanair and a take a coach up to Cologne from Hahn airport, this could possibly be the cheapest way of doing it if you could get a cheap Ryanair flight.
