I wouldn't bother. It's a really poor anniversary collection. No extra's. The booklet you get is terrible. And to make matters worse it's the inferior PAL version of the game that we got. Stick to an emulator and the american version or the better american NES games.

If you really must Zavvi still have it and a few other online stores, probably amazon.co.uk as well.

I'm more concerned about New Super Mario Bros Wii. I've been waiting for that game to come down in price and it's still around 45 everywhere. Even second hand! What the hell is that about?

Waiting for a first party nintendo game to drop in price especially a first party game that could be on it's way to challenge black ops for the best selling game of this generation is futile. You'll just have to suck it up. It's fantastic though, well up there with mario world and mario 3 and a damn sight better than the mediocre DS game.

    Not worth it.
They got the worst version of the compilation and threw it in an emulator on a disc.
Would it have been that much effort to maybe make the original stages in the new mario bros level editor they have?

I found it strange how it's never around the shops too. I did manage to find the CD and booklet on sale in a charity shop for 2 Euro. An emulated Snes game and a tiny few extras was a missed opportunity. They should have thrown in the 2-D game boy Marios, Yoshi's Island, Mario World and a 100 page book instead.

I know Nintendo first party titles don't drop to bargain bin prices, but Mario Galaxy for example can be had now for about €30 second hand. So can most Wii games.

Why is it not possible to get NSMB wii second hand for less than 45? How can they charge what is in fact full retail price for a second hand game that's not even new anymore? Even more so if it's a best seller as there should be millions of copies.

    Just seemed very odd!

Might be because very few people are trading it in. I've rarely seen it pre-owned.

It's because people are still buying NSMB Wii in their droves at that ridiculous price and will continue to do so. As for Mario Galaxy it only lost its value after the sequel and even then only a few months after the sequel.

You can get it a little cheaper online if you really want but it's still going to cost you just shy of 40 stingers. I got mine for free since I reviewed it :P
