My car failed it's NCT this morning because of a sharp edge on this light (pic attached). It passed it's NCT 2 years ago, the first of this years one in March (where it failed on the parking/emergency brake), and then failed on it this mornings. Their reasoning behind not failing it before but failing it today is that they have to be stricter because of the TV show.
Anyhoos I don't want to buy a whole new light as this yoke is already costing me too much to run! Do you think I'd get away with filing/sanding down the edges and maybe a lick of black silicone to put a smooth edge on it?:pac:
