    How accurate?
    What's it for.

Most scales that you pick up in dunnes or whereever are accurate enough for measuring body weight. They generally go in 50g or 100g increments, might not sound that accurate, but your weight flucuates so much over the course of a day that any more is pointless.

if you are weigh food, you'll prob want something that goes to 5g or 10g. Anything in a homeware department would be fine.

I doubt you are looking for a microscales to weight out fractions of grams, but these are availible too.

I find the Salter brand very good , they do both body & food types - you can get them in Argos.

    No they aren't.
they are more than accurate enough to weigh people. You don't need an accurate scales to weight people it its just to monitor weigth of a period. it fluctuates naturally, so you only need a rough idea as to weather its going up or down or staying the same on average.

The only time you need to acurately weight people if before a fight to make a limit. And even then, its just part of the rules and isn't their real weight
