hi all. i was reading this forum last night and noticed theres some past and present doe testers on here. i want to alter the front of my car and am wondering whats legal.

this is gonna seem trivial to most. I want to get rid of the indicators on the front of my car. on the front theres the main headlights, marker lights on the side and underneath are the indicators. im thinking to move the indicators to the housing where the marker lights are. My last car had little junior bulbs in the headlight housing, that served as marker lights.

will the testers give a hoot if i do this? heres a car the same as mine. thanks for reading, redd .

Indicators have to be 21watt orange bulbs, theres not going to be room in your side lights for an additional 21watt bulb

As long as you end up with working amber indicators and white parking lights on the front I'd say the DOE will be ok.

How were you thinking of modifying it OP? Keeping the parking light where it is and adding an amber bulb?

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
