recommendations for cheap pedicures in dublin?

    Hi,
I've only once had a pedicure before and that was in new york, so i'm at a loss searching for places in dublin city centre. I'm going on holiday soon and I need to be flipflop fit! I've tried googling "cheap pedicure dublin" and so on, but it seems like a shot in the dark, I'd love to here some recommendations. I don't mind if the place isn't fancy or anything, just as long as they do a nice job and don't cost too much.
I was expecting it to be around 30, but from what I can see you can only really get a file and polish for that much, and I really want a bit of exfoliation and cuticles cleaned up.
I've heard others recommend chiropodists instead, and it certainly seems like better value for money (i prefer to spend €50 on a medical procedure than €50-70 on a cosmetic one!). but is it normal to go in with no real issues? just wanting the dead skin removed or whatever? if i was going to have to spend 50 it might be worth getting a professional to look at my feet...

also, and this is a long shot, but has does anyone know of a salon that might have Gosh holographic nail polish in stock for mani/pedi? It's out of stock everywhere, but I love what I've seen of it and would love to get to wear it even just once...

Can only be semi-helpful here I'm afraid! A friend had Minx nails done in a Salon in Swords, I think it was this place they looked gorgeous. I actually got nail wraps in Penneys a few weeks back (gold leopard print) that were the business also, planning on going back in tomorrow to pick up more, they looked great and lasted for ages

With pedicures I haven't had one in Dublin so can't comment on quality but I have spotted some deals in some of the Asian salons that are after popping up around the place. There's one just down from Whelans on Camden Street that's offering a 'luxury' pedicure for €18, they have a 'standard' one for €11 or something like that so I assume there's hard skin removal & cuticles included. Might be worth checking a few of them out

brilliant, that's the kind of place i'm looking for, thanks!

were the penney's nail wraps hard to apply? i think i saw them myself, but I only want plain silver/gold, no patterns and I think they only had animal print when i was there!

that looks v. promising, thanks for the link!
i'll prob just ring them tomorrow to ask, but do you know if these places quote €30 for minx nails, does that include the manicure? or would it be a case of paying for manicure + €30 extra for the minx?

The 30 includes a shaping of the nails and cuticle work etc but you wouldn't get the hand massage or softening skin in warm water etc. It's kinda like getting a 'file and polish'. The rest of the stuff would be extra.

30 euro is standard price, i'd say you could do better, there are deals for hand and toes for 50 around the place.
