2nd car insurance query

I'm buying a second car and I know it is essentially starting from scratch as far as the NCB is concerned. My query is that the insurance for the first car is up for renewal in July with a 2yr NCB. Can I transfer this NCB over to the second car insurance at that stage? Thanks in advance BPN

You mean use the NCB you have for the new car and start from scratch on the old? Shouldn't be any reason you can't....

That's it in a nutshell. The other half will most likely takeover as the insured person on the old car and I'll be just a named driver.

In that case all you have to do once renewal comes around is inform them that you've changed vehicle
