A friend of mine is on the dole and he went on holiday for a week and he gave social welfare 2 weeks notice. Anyway he came back yesterday and his money wasn't in his account. He normally gets it on thursday, do you think he will get double pay tomorrow.He's broke now and he has bills to pay. It has him confused and worried. Any thoughts?

ya... ''a friend of yours''. normally when u notify them that your goen on holidays they withdraw the payment till you return.

His money should be in the post office tomorrow if he normally gets paid on Thursday. There should be two weeks money for him.

Your friend has to go to Social Welfare and let them know in person that he's back.

He has to go into the dole office and sign back on , he'll get double payment most likely .
Your allowed 2 weeks holidays on the dole .
