    do yourself a favour!
    Get an orange San francisco up north or in the UK.
    Support is the key deciding factor on any android purchase really so the OSF has to be one of the best supported handsets around!
    no brainer for me(so good I bought me wife one,pity i spent so much on my desire though!)

    Seriously do yourself a favor and stay away from them sort of phones...

    They will cause more headaches than solve problems.

    If you want to get her a good value for money phone look at the Sony Ericsson's X8. Plenty of features and wont break your budget a lot more than that garbage knock off.

    Probably last alot longer as well

    Samsung Europa is a fine phone, not overwhelming in size, the phone has pretty much a full featured Android set up, GPS, Marketplace, Wi-fi.

    Some limitations are a fairly low resolution screen (320x240) and an ARM6 processor, which means no native Flash support in the web browser. Other than that, for everyday use, it just works.

    This is one of the few Android phones with 'physical buttons' along the bottom, which I love. I'm not a fan of Call\End Call screen buttons.
