The commuter food chain

You get a point every time you overtake someone higher up the food chain, and lose a point if someone lower overtakes you. For true fans there are also bonus points depending on what the rider is wearing and whether their bike has accessories such as panniers or a child seat. There are also bonus point for novelty vehicles - the ultimate being 20 points for overtaking a Sinclair C5.

2. Road bike riders with shaved legs - like girls
3. Single speed road bikes
4. Roadies with hairy legs - like men
5. "Fashion" Single Speed bikes (known as fake messengers, or fakengers)
6. Touring Bikes (with mudguards)
7. Fast hybrids
8. Mountain Bikes on slick tyres
9. Mountain Bikes on knobbly tyres
10. Bromptons / collapsing bikes
11. Full Suspension Mountain Bikes
12. Shoppers
13. Shoppers with wicker baskets
