Bridgestone ball fitting

    Has anyone heard of this being carried out in Ireland anywhere?

    Have read a bit online about it, most people who have attended and been fitted for a ball have seen excellent results. They have a set up that measures how much backspin, etc you are getting with each ball. Then they recommend a ball, most people have seen serious benefits in terms of distance. This was a Uk based forum I read it on.

    I haven't seen the service advertised in Ireland but would be interested in trying it out

    We do this in the US all the time.
    I didn't believe it at first but after seeing the difference it made to the game of some of my guys, heck I didn't delay getting my ass down to the fitting centre.
    Titleist are probably ahead of the game in this regard.
    TM maybe catching up.

    I suppose I've never thought about a ball fitting before, club fitting yes but not for a ball. The main thing I like is that nearly all seem to experience a serious improvement in distance

    Bridgestone did a ball fitting session at Kinsealy Grange earlier this year. Just noticed it one evening when I was up hitting a few balls. They do not seem to be as well advertised or as frequent as club fitting or club demo days.
