Breakdown Cover

My current insurance policy doesn't include breakdown and given the age of the car (97) I thought it prudent to check out breakdown cover. Used to be with RAC in the UK however, couldn't seem to get their website to work? Anyone got any advice on who to go with? AA seem very expensive in Ireland compared with the UK and only found one other supplier breakdowncover.ie (seem to be the same people as carhireexcess.com that I've used before with no problems).

current insurance is 123 basic fire and theft.

AXA gave me free breakdown cover this year for being a Credit Union member.

I have a breakdown cover as an add-on to my insurance with Allianz.
Unfortunately it covers only Ireland and UK, so while travelling on the continent, I buy breakdown cover on there, which is way cheaper.
Last time I got cover for 2 months for 10 euros valid all over EU.

Silly question - but how would I check? Would it be on the policy document?

It's in their booklet and also on the cover letter they sent out to me, it's not on the policy. Easiest way to check would be to ring them :)

My wife signed up to 123.ie only last night. On the product selection before you enter CC details it gave 2 options for TPF&T - one had breakdown cover and driving other cars - the other one didn't.
