    Hi

I hope someone can help me, i purchased the above last year and havent used it in ages, when i tried it today the power wasnt good. I rented a diesel one before and there was a bolt to open when blocked and you could take out any crap that had built up. Anyone know if this is in tractor power washers too? any other help re maintenace etc would be appreciated

    Thanks

2 things i noted with my tractor washer, it works better at 1000 rpm as opposed to 540 and also replacing the old inlet house made a big diff, got a new proper inlet house with filter on end, its amazing the difference the slightest blockage on inlet can make..sure take off the inlet hose and see if there is any crap gone into washer, if you only got it last year though it should be fine, have you a turbo lance?

The nut that holds the gauze in place to collect any dirt taken in should be on a V shaped fitting on the intake pipe. I haven't seen a tractor washer without one.

Bought a hot power washer last year. Electric with diesel burner, to heat the water.
Brilliant job. The steam does so much better job, with much less pessure required.

Can I ask where you got one of those? I'd say they are a great job for oil/grease on machines

    OP

The big freeze......... it hardly did any damage to the pump? :o

Hopefully it's something smaller like dirty filters like others have suggested. The smallest blockage could be causing the problem. At least when you right it, you'I know for again.... sorry can't be much help.

have used one of these, good tool but i wouldnt rate it compared to the tractor washer witha turbo lance for cleaning dirty sheds
