    No difference. Both have the same polymer gearbox. Some newer Ares models use metal however.

    cheers for the reply FK just thought the ARES might have had a newer version of the polymer gearbox,havent come across any ARES LMGs with metal gearboxes thanks.

    yes thats all i have seen pudding,cant seem to find a decent review of the polymer gearbox.

    The KAC LMG will have a metal gearbox..It's light too.
