    Recently got this Tv, have tried numerous usb devices on it to try out Tv recording.

    Usb external sata, usb ide, usb pen.....

    All are saying device not supported!!!

    Does anyone know which devices work or is it something im doing wrong?

    Is there an option to format the HDD anywhere in the TV settings?

    It has to be registered before it will automatically format it. This is were it doesnt register it for me.

    I plug it in, goto menu,setup,HDD setup, access and ive to click ok to register it but all I keep getting is "Device not supported".....

    Have tried numerous ways and different external HD's....

    Does the HDD have to be formatted as FAT32 or NTFS?

    No from what I've read is that it will format it in its own format like EXT2....I formatted it in Ubuntu to see if that worked but it didnt...

    Ahhhh, just sussed it....Sorry.....Hard drive has to be 160gig and up to 2TB for it to kick in....What a dope Iam.....

    Cool, that was going to be my next suggestion, I took for granted that the HDD was greater capacity than 160GB.
