What wheelset?

A request please for the combined expertise of the boards:

I have a slight flat spot on my rear wheel a dt Swiss r1900 of about 2mm at most but it makes the bike wobble when rotating the wheel on a maintenance stand. The local lbs is giving a repair a go but may not succeed.

    If they don't I have 3 options:

    1. Ride the wheel and get over it. Not great
    2. Direct replacement of wheel. They look nice but it could happen again
    3. For around the same price as 1 r1900 buy a set of say Fulcrum Racing 5.

Any thoughts are much appreciated. It is for my good bike on nice weather sportives but don't want to get hit by crosswinds. I have shimano rs20s on my other bike and I find they flex a bit under stress for me as I am 6'4" and maybe pushing the tolerance limit for load.

    Any suggestions please?

    Thanks very much
