Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, never posted here before but I was just looking at http://www.flightradar24.com/ and noticed an Easyjet plane circling near Doncaster airport. Looks like he's done around 12+ circuits so am just wondering why a plane would have to do this.

Not only do I leve near Donny airport but I'm a nervous flyer and flying on friday so hence the concern!! :o

    Its not circling.

It looks more like a touch and go exercise.
I.E. the aircraft lands and takes off again without coming to a stop.

There can be any number of reasons for this.

    Mainly -

    -Pilot training
    -Aircraft testing
    -Runway surface testing

Its a common enough sight at Shannon.

Routine procedure. Hope this puts your mind at rest. :)

I've a gut feeling this is a flight crew training flight doing touch and go's at Doncaster Airport. I will look further in to this.

No fog, just lots of cloud.
