    Hey guys..

So I'm dying of the flu, went home early from work yday. Took today off in hopes of going back, but I'm sicker than I thought. I'm going to need a doctors note if i take any additional time off...

Just wondering how much is a doctors cert? is it hte standard 50 for a consult, or cheaper? thanks!

You need to visit the doctor so they can determine how sick you actually are before they issue a sick cert. Also if you are getting worse you may need treatment of some type or another like antibiotics. I am currently at home with a chest infection and a nice collection of drugs to take.

My local GP costs €40 but that is with a loyalty scheme, their normal rate is €50

I may have the same thing, started with being tired and typically flu-ey, now all my sinuses are blocked and i feel the start of a cough. The joys! Last thing i wanna do is walk to the doctor!

Any time i was out sick and needed a cert i just rang them up and picked it up later. I think it was 50 yo yos.
