    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0756683/
An impromptu goodbye party for Professor John Oldman becomes a mysterious interrogation after the retiring scholar reveals to his colleagues he is an immortal who has walked the earth for 14,000 years.

Has anybody ever seen this? I just watched it on a whim (it was a recommendation at the bottom of an IMDB page) and was blown away by it, I loved it, a very smart film, really makes you think. Its a low budget sci-fi that is basically a room full of college professors talking. But the script is so brilliant that I was hooked on it.

It may look very cheap when you first start watching but don't let that put you off.

I definitely recommend it to anyone that likes a smart film that makes you think.

Yeah I saw it a couple of years ago. Clever little film indeed.

Interesting concept is the main part of it.
In reality the script and acting are a bit clunky at times.

Effectively it comes across like a cheap episode of the 80s Twilight Zone which is fine if you accept those limitations. A little overrated but not bad

Saw this a good while ago and really enjoyed it. Very impressive film for such a simple concept, and such a small budget. It's a great example of how a good story told well can easily trump a budget of 100s of millions.

The script is from Jerome Bixby whose stories were adapted into episodes of the original Twilight Zone, the film and the 2000s version.

I'd agree with it being overrated, but it is interesting. I think that the film would have been better served as a Twilight Zone episode, because it would knocked out in half the time.
