Life, a computer game?

Contemplating Aristotle

This is a major question regarding human existence, are we real or are we merely holograms in a computer simulation, a computer game perhaps? Could what we think of as our free wills be nothing more than the result of people in another universe pushing buttons? Could our universe be nothing more than an elaborate game in which we are programmed to believe we are real?

Real, or not real? Reality, or simulation? Free will, or manipulation?

If life was a video game why would the people in the game of life play video games? That would mean whoever is playing the original video game is playing a video game of someone playing a video game. What would be the point in that?
