Commuting from Ranelagh to Tallaght

    well hows all, just wondering whats the fastest way of getting to tallaght hospital from ranealgh in the mornings...have to be in tallaght @ 9 and I dont have a bike

    Failing that, leg it up to Rathmines and get a 65 or 65B.

    Seems to take ages, though. :eek:

    The 0745 65b from Eden Quay will have you at the Hospital for 0830, while the 0805 65 will get there for about 0900 (it takes longer as schools traffic builds).

    Both operate through Rathmines - allow 10-15 minutes for the bus to get there.

    Seriously look into getting a bike, enquire about the cycle to work scheme when you have started your job.

    Down the line Network Direct have announced the the 140 - it might be a good route for you?

    Route 140 will have peak weekday frequencies of 10 minutes or better

    Not sure then the ND changes for Tallaght are due though.
