    Hi Lads,

Im guessing this question has been asked here before but I couldnt find anything similar when I searched.

Anyone know if it is possible to get AD Sports in Ireland as they have all the premiership games.

Im guessing no as nobody seems to be talking about it on here but would just like to confirm if it can be received or not.

    Cheers

Not possible mate as far as i know...

You'd need one hell of a mo-fo dish!!!....

But i'd say the beam doesn't come anywhere near us...

    Cheers for the replies lads.

Ah well, would have been ideal with them showing every premiership game.

Dont think we can get 4.8 east here either can we? for viasat.

I have 13, 19 and 28 atm but looking to add another sat for that little bit extra.

Viasat on 4.8E can be received but you would ideally need a 1.1-1.2m diash, quality LNB, and a receiver with sensitive tuner. Some of the nordic transponders are hard to lock onto, but can be done with fine tuning. Viasat is a quality package for footy.

    Cheers.

What bout getting 16 east in a multi lnb setup, I already have 19 and 13 on one dish.

Im guessing that 16 may be a bit too close to 13 to have an extra lnb there.

I'm guessing you have a 6 degree monoblock lnb in your set up. You can get all three sats at 13 16 and 19, but because of the 3 degree spacing you might need to consider an ALPS LNB deisgned to fit at 3 degree spacing (very thin) you will also need a diseq switch.

    http://www.dvb-shop24.net/product_info.php/info/p135_ALPS-UNIVERSAL-SINGLE-LNB---VERY-THIN-STYLE.html/XTCsid/nd6ghkm5vt1j1jt2f2ignslaq5

Bit fiddly but it is possible, and i have heard you can get multi lnb holders with 3 degree spacing which would help.

Read this thread, you may find it very helpful for close spacing lnbs

Atm i have two single lnbs, not monobloc as I also join 13 and 19 to 28 which is coming from a sky minidish.

Cheers for reply anyway, il look into it but not sure if its even worth adding 16 really as most of the footie on it would probably be available to me on what i already have.

No its not, 16 east is perfectly obtainable next door to 13 east, I use alps lnb's with the triax multi block holder & triax 110 dish Perfect signal ;)

Cheers, not sure if it will be even worth adding 16 though.

Would defo need to upgrade my dish anyway. I have a cheap lidl 80 cm one atm.

It does the job but its very dodge in the wind. Good few years old.

With a Triax TD110 would I be able to receive 13, 16, 19 and 28 all on the same dish?

    Hi Mate,
I have 9e,13e,16e,19.2e 23.5e and 28.2e all on a Triax TD88 dish in the midwest area, only problem with my setup is that 16e drops out in poor weather but that is a limitation of my dish size.
Which isn't too much of a problem for me really as it was added more for the challenge of seeing how far I could push the setup :P

Where there is some excellent advice offered for multisat setups!
If you go down the Multisat route get a Triax TD110 and use 16e as your prime focus and you will get what your after and more.

Cheers for the replies, im going to think about this and see if its something i really need.

I have pretty much all i need with 13, 19 and 28 atm.

To add anything else I would need to get a new dish and some of those alps lnbs, will probably cost me 100 euro + so mite leave what i have for the time being.
