    Thanks for posting. I wonder which make is more reliable - Samsung or Seagate. Think I'll go with the Samsung.

    For 1TB of data I wouldn't debate on reliability - buy a 2nd one and back one up to the other:D

    Far too much data to consider losing.

    I am waiting on an 8TB QNAP NAS and it has USB 3.0 slots - even though it it RAID etc I still intend gettting some big USB 3.0 drives for backups.... paranoia! :eek:

    Haha. I don't have that kinda money. I'll just not put anything too important on it.
