What's with all the sirens around Stephen's Green?

I'm trying to study for exams in my library in town and keep hearing sirens around the place. Has something happened or is this all part of security prep for the Queen's visit?

Also will public transport be running as normal on Tuesday? I've an exam early in the morning.

It does get quite tiring with all the noise from the plebians though. God help me during next week's visit.
