Looking to find out who has the best prices for iPhone insurance?

    Name:
    How much monthly?
    How much annual?
What does it cover?(Loss, theft, damage)
Where does it cover you?(Ireland, Uk, Worldwide)
Mobile Replacement Value?(Up to how much)
    Excess?

    Anything additional to add...

This comes up every single week and a consensus is never reached to be honest.
    How much monthly?

Normally on your bill if you opt for it from your provider as part of your contract. Costs about €8 to 10 per month.
What does it cover?(Loss, theft, damage)

Like all insurance it covers the necessities. Generally has an excess of €50 for the first claim. This increases with subsequent claims to stop what used happen with people "losing" their phones every 6 months.

I'm not sure if phone insurance is "all risks" i.e. Can you drop it in water and get it replaced etc.
Where does it cover you?(Ireland, Uk, Worldwide)

Policy specific. I would imagine worldwide provided you had all the necessary documentation.
Mobile Replacement Value?(Up to how much)

Like for like. If you lose an iPhone 16GB, you'll get the exact same model as with all insurance.

On a personal note, phone insurance is fairly bogus given the cost. If you have a phone for two years, you could spend up to €240 on insurance. Couple this with any resale depreciation, and you'll have lost probably €500 all told. My personal feelings on it, and I tried to insure my iPhone, is that if I can afford to buy it then I can afford to lose it. I'm just not willing to fork out €10 per month against something that "might" happen. I'd rather come along in 12 months and sell the phone, get a good price and get a new one. If I lose it along the way, well thats my tough luck.

Alternatively, some house insurance policy's cover your phone. However in my case there were ridiculous clauses i.e. The phone had to be stolen from my house or the boot of a locked car. It was pointless.

If you're with 3 you can get yearly insurance for either €63 or €81 a year. It seems like it covers everything but I'm sure if I ever have to make a claim they'll point out something in the small print that will invalidate my claim!

Stick the 10 euro a month into a credit union account. Insurance is for losers.

    Isn't that the basic point?
You lose it and insurance replaces it.....
