Because clearly allowing R Kelly to believe he can fly could potentially lead to some complications when he actually tries to exercise that practice. Anyways, I always preferred his rendition of Gotham City for some reason..

why not just leave people to believe what they want and leave em to it.

Becuase some beliefs have an impact on the society in which we all live. Eg. creationism in the science classroom, state decisions influenced through religion, etc etc.

Unless you engage in some theist grand standing or some atheist back slapping we just don't know what to do with your thread.

Suarez, you really must work on your trolling. Surely, you can do better than that. These drive-bys are juvenile and amateurish.

If you want to get people really riled up, you should hang around longer, make circular arguments, quote scripture, use smileys, tell us that you'll pray for us and maybe use long paragraphs with no punctuation.

I know that you're after a reaction and i'm only trying to help here, but you really must put more thought into your trolling.

aww, I thought the church had branched out and started offering money for taking the useless souls from us heathens, cash4souls.ie simply write "my soul" on a 3x5 card and post it in, and two weeks later, you get a cheque in the mail!

It's not much of a discussion if the fundamental validity of the beliefs are not up for discussion, but are assumed.
