    Hi guys,

Just got my offer for next years capmus accom; does anyone know which window is the superior room in V79? I really don't fancy the room to the right of the archway :/

If anyone could enlighten me that'd be great :)

i was in vg79e in my first year, thats the superior and it's beside the arch.

prepare to hear wheelie bags going by constantly (including mid week at 4/5am for some reason).

balls, does that face the courtyard or towards larkfield? I was ground floor facing the courtyard 2 years ago but it was the opposite side so not too bad really...

    Thanks for the replies guys!

Your going to have some complaint no matter where you go as theres so many people.
I had ground floor Hampstead facing college park. right on the path from the carpark to the pool. You get used to it really. After a week or so you just sleep through anything.

Id imagine the corner rooms by the sports building to get the worst noise.

that faced into the courtyard, but like it has been said, you get used to it and learn to sleep through anything.

honestly, no matter where you are on campus res you're gonna get noise, everything echoes around res.

thanks, I wouldn't have taken it if it faced away into larkfield because of all the noise but I'll live with the courtyard noise :)

I love boards for answering these silly queries :) campusres are useless...

I lived in one of those corner apartments this year and they're not so bad. just the constant wheelie bags and the drunk people yelling between 11pm and 5am...you get used to it pretty quickly though!

Do you get your accommodation in May if your going into second year?

And when do you find out if your going into 1st year?

If your going into a first year they can't send out applications until you have a college place. So it would be sometime after CAO results.

You could have a look at old threads about accommodation, I'm sure people said when they got their offers.

You find out within about a week of getting your college place.
