Has anyone tried the opticians in the Tesco in Naas? Is it expensive/cheaper? Good selection of glasses? Any recommend it?

they have budget frames but they also have designer frames that are fairly expensive.
The budget frames are really cheap, myself and the wife got a pair each but they both came apart within 3 weeks (a few days apart!) Arms litterly fell off and lenses popped out.

my advise, if you want a proper pair of glasses don't buy them in a supermarket!

i picked up a pair €15 and a free eye test in balbriggan

wearing them everyday and they are holding up fine for 3 months : )

they did seem intent on selling me anti glare coating but i stuck to my guns and only spent the €15

When you say you got a free eye test was that with your medical card or prsi?
