I did an Ab class at me gym, and was a good workout, but my neck is sore today

Just at the sides though, so I think its just DOMS in my neck muscles

The back/bone isnt sore at all

    Does anyone else experience this?

Are you looking up towards the celing uring the exercises all the time? It can put excess strain on the neck. If you were pulsing up for example, the idea would be to look in towards your legs rather than the ceiling. Could be a load of things though - could be your hand positionning or any other number of things. But your neck really shouldnt feel it, so your form is probable not at all what it should be

Were your hands on/behind your head at any point during the workout?

    Nope, fingertips behind me ears

Cant really remember where I was lookin, it was a fast class

But I know what you mean about lookin at the ceiling, its like im keeping my head level

I really felt it when we were doin leg-up sits, like shoulder stands and bicycle kicks

If its just muscular I dont mind as I'd like more neck mass, but obv I dont wanna damage anything! Should DOMS from isometric neck exercises be any different?
