Nah, if I won the EuroMillions I wouldn't buy an island for airsoft. I'd buy an excessive amount of totally unnecessary equipment.

Like an airsoft M200 Intervention. *Drools*

I probaly do the same and buy land and do the same thing as the ad done.. :)

    More aeg's more everything :D

buy one of the massive housing estates thats abandoned and some of the land around and use it for free airsoft wars

i cant remember the link but there is an island that was the base for ships and subs during ww2 in the med somewhere that is solely used for airsofting, tunnels docks woodland beaches shacks workyards etc. they will provide generators for power and food for bbq and i thinks it costs like 1000 a man just to rent it not including travelling

but getting back on topic i would most definately but up land or disused warehousing space and build houses etc and only charge enough to cover expenses call it non profit and if ever there was some invest it back in and maybe buy an old aircrft carrier from the brits and use that:D

If I won the euromilliions, I'd be buying a real one, not a disappointing airsoft one.

Also, if I won, you'd know. I'd be the one commuting to work in a LAV-25 on the Naas Road every day. Next time that arsehöle in the Z3 cuts me off, he'll meet the business end of what the navy call "ramming speed".

I would buy ireland but germany beat me to it =(
So with that idea gone i would invent the bubblesheild so i would never have to call a hit again!! And maybe sell it to the military.....

This damn topic has got Lemming chattin on about how hes going to make a vietnam themed island, with hueys with blank fire m60s.... *holds head in hands*

If I won, I'd probably just employ people to shoot with real guns, and they'd get blanks.

These people may or may not be Chavs/skangers, and may or may not get the choice to play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,149 ✭✭✭✭Lemming

Dibs on RIO in the Phantom...

    REO... Radio Electronics Officer.

Or coloquially as GIBS (Guy in back seat)

While we're at it, lets get a buff or two to drop large airsoft bombs (bags of bbs) for high altitude raids :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

RIO - radar intercept officer. "Different name, same friendly service".

I'd have nowhere to use a real one, hence the airsoft one. ;)

The LAV-25 sounds like a good idea though.

I'd get an airsoft AW.50 manufactured... spring powered, 8mm, 500fps. I'd have it precision engineered, tested, and constructed from the best parts and knowlage available... screw after market upgrades, why not make it great from go?

    8mm death :D

Then I'd buy a machine shop, and custom make hpa powered gbb m60vn, and gbb GPMG for Lemming as a pressie :D

You could always build a time machine, go back in time and still win the lottery but bet on yourself winning the lottery and have even more monies for airsoft/military purchases such as the examples that have been aforementioned :D

I don't need the flag, I've got hellfires. XD

No but seriously. I'd let some of my mates on the ground worry about the flag - the defenders wouldn't want to stick their heads out!

I think there is a unsung agreement between a few of the lads that if the lotto is won, there is the following

    Trip to Vegas for noize
Then a privat visit to the Magpul main production factory where everyone gets a fully custom built Magpul M4.

Then with the money left over we drive a massive truck into sites every weekend, and replace every Steyr and AK seen with a M4.

Just to do out community service and clean up the game ;)

Hey, whats wrong with the Steyr?

I'm an M4 man myself but thats besides the point...

If I won the lottery, I'd pay for men to kidnap doc, and film a video of him using an AK.

    For a community service... obviously

They are gick..... there is nothing right with them, they are disgusting :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 565 ✭✭✭DoBhrionn

I think the Steyr is a lot comfier than an M4 (and less common too) I find it under-rated. Only reason it's not used more often is that it was designed and built before its time :(
    Back on topic:
A flight in a couple of UH-1 Huey and Cinooks taking me and many good friends to that magical Island for a month or so. All equipped with brand new, upgraded airsoft gear. And lots of it. Built to each individual specification.

The only hard part is getting people to be on the opposing team....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭Firekitten

Whats this gear built to individual specs?

I thought airsoft was playing army ;) Most airsofters have a similar to realistic budget without the lotto ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,113 ✭✭✭sharpy2010

I think that if anyone here won the lotto that myself and richie should at least be brought along to the island as we introduced it to the thread.
I know i know its selfish but i will be on the opposing team i love playing the odds:D:D:D:D

    ill go with

    300pxrussianairforcekam.jpg

i love the idea also of a large bit of land with a warehouse/office building

mixed indoor and outdoor airsoft kinda like 1 team has to get into the factory and steal something and exfill with it ect.
also mock up a ship/oil tanker inside aswell
and get someone to make me a GBB PKM and DsHk :D

If I actually won, airsoft would be very far down the list of priorities. Large house, a full workshop and a 69 Corvette Stingray with a Hemi in black with chrome exposed headers would be the first three concerns.

Give a man money, and he'll buy what he wants. Give him a workshop, and he'll build everything he needs.

Super Epic Binge would probably be on the top of everyones list(of age)!
    then so on!

I would buy the Arann Islands.

Then use them as a big airsoft site.

Without warning the islanders of course :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭Firekitten

If I could have something none airosfty... I'd buy and run my own nightclub, build myself a propper music studio at my new (to accomodate the studio) house, and live comfortably for the rest of my life.

    Not including:
    Mercedes sls
    Mercedes G500
    civil fa-18
    bell 212
    the house in the country
    the house in the city
the house inbetween when I can't decide
    Lemming's dog house
    most of harrods's content
    most of bond street' content
and a list of other stuff I fancy

oh yeah and some airsoft maybe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,283 ✭✭✭Ross_Mahon

I would donate to my local site and get some themed weekends running

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Leftyflip

Drum room, Drum Workshop custom kit.
Guitar room full of Gibsons, Ibanez's, BC Rich, et, etc.
Helicopter, plane, rather large obnoxious "f*ck you" car.
And some G&P stuff with VFC gearboxes and a rakeload of BBs and batteries.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,152 ✭✭✭Inari

If I won the Euromillions, what I'd skirmish with would be shell ejecting everything...and I'd just pay someone to pick up the shells; he would be called Jeeves.

But aye, like many others have said, Airsoft would not exactly be the highest on my list for spending the winnings :D
