I'm not worried. I have my bike, the best way to get around.

Best advice - if u r a commuter & really work - move to DCU or the surrounding area the night b4 the exam (perhaps if u have a mate or know someone on campus or in Shanowen).

I can't see things being shut down for long, just a temporary closure so she can travel I imagine. Don't want her stuck in traffic or something.

Defiantly the only way worth travelling... You can stick it the queen and work on getting killer abs all while getting to college

Any particular site she is travelling to, such as Croke Park and Garden of Remembrance, will have all the surrounding roads closed off for a number of days before the visit. Parnell Square is now closed to all traffic, not so sure around Croke Park yet.

    Check out http://www.aaireland.ie/AA/AA-Roadwatch/Event-Guide/Visits-by-Queen-Elizabeth-II-and-President-Barack-Obama/Queen-Elizabeth-II.aspx

Expect more than just short road closures and leave yourself plenty of time. Nothing worse than being stressed about being late before an exam.

Rail services will be suspended between Connolly and Pearse on Weds 18th May; 10:45am-11:15am, 2:30pm-3pm, 3:30pm-4pm and on Thurs 19th May; 5:30pm-6:15pm, 7:45pm-8:15pm. During these times, northside services will operate from Howth/Malahide and Drogheda to and from Connolly Station. Southside services will operate from Bray and Greystones to and from Pearse Station.

On Wednesday 18th May, Maynooth services will not serve Drumcondra Station between 10:30am and 4pm. There will also be delays to some Maynooth line services.

Fan-****ing-tastic. Exam at 2:30 on Wednesday which will be a nightmare to get for between delayed trains and buses.

Seriously waste of f*cking time and money bringing over a old woman who no in this country gives a sh*t about to "promote good relationships between us and the UK".

Just go in early and do some study before the exam. Problem solved.
