    Hi all quick question.
Footy season finishing so plan to start a bit of cycling to fill the days.
Was thinking of doing the ring of kerry is this realistic?
I currently play a low standard footy and run 4 miles once a week at 7min/mile pace.
Any other suggestions of races around Cork direction if this is a bit too much too soon.
    Cheers

if you are talking the event, "ring of kerry", sure do it. last year they had about 6000 riders, many who were slow and riding for the first time on traditional city bikes. the event is extremely well supported and if you have to bail or get in trouble help is very quick. they will drive you and your bike back to the start if needed. i recommend it!
