I bought and have been using a couple of these batteries on Ebay for my Desire. I'm not sure if they are the capacity they state but they definitely outlast the normal HTC battery and they fit easily into my wallet.

No more worrying about running out of power and for less than £5 +postage, easily a useful item.

I got an ebay battery for my desire and although it's definatley not the 1,600mAh it states to be, it has come in handy more than once. It does for about 9 to 12 hours of use.

I was thinking of getting a higher capacity battery for the Desire.

Are the batteries the same size as the original one or do they need a special back cover to fit them into the phone?
