Padock bobbins - bad for security?

I'm looking at getting paddock bobbins for the swing arm so that I can do faster and easier chain maintenance and tire checks and anything else you can do with the bike stood up properly.

The question though is, does this make the bike less secure on the street?
Many here have paddock bobbins on the swing arm or on the front too?

I can't see how they would. You're average scumbag doesn't carry a paddock stand to steal wheels and if someone really wants it they'll have it.

There is no disadvantage to having them to be honest.

I'd be quite happy if a scumbag adjusted my chain for me :D

ha ha. Yeah just thought I'd cover the bases and make sure no one had one of those 'if you only thought of this situation...' stories.

Ordered the bobbins today on ebay, but should probably get the paddock stand from a brick and mortar store. Any recommendations on that front? I don't fancy the P&P on a paddock stand.
