Drummer seeks band(Dublin)

Hey here guys and gals,
I'm Drummer looking to, ideally start a band, but joining a band is a close second.
I, myself, have almost four years of gigging experience, recorded in the studio four times and about five years overall drumming experience.

Genre/influences: i'm looking for a something corporate, jack's mannequin, anberlin style band (don't know them? kinda Panic! /elliot minor)

I'm based in Dublin CC, and have a studio around the corner for practice, but i also have a car if needs me

As for positions, in my head I was thinking: vocals, piano, guitar(or two) and bass(then myself of course). But its debatable

For age: i'm 18 so anywhere between late teens and early twenties would be preferred

Additional Info: Looking for original band. Hoping to practice at least once a week, but maybe more if people live close enough. Experienced musicians are obviously preferred, but experience is completely unnecessary(everyone's gotta start somewhere).

hey man im a guitarist, liked the sound of your demos and would be interested in starting something! im 20 n have been playing guitar for years n have played in a few different bands, nothing to big, but wud like to start something serious! srry i dont have any demos r anytin u cud listen to! let me no if ur interested, im from dublin so meeting up etc. wudnt be a problem.

Yeah, of course i'd be interested. What i'm thinking: see if we can get another person or two, then have a jam (say next weekend 21st-ish) to see how we get on etc. And maybe just a meet up otherwise

hey patrick,me and a friend recently started a band,were in need of a drummer

currently we have a bassist,2 guitarists,singer and a keyboardist,were looking for a drummer and possibly 2 violinists....

were in the city centre area and will be rehearsing in temple lane studios once we get some more members and everything in concrete,were all in our early to mid 20's thus far...


our influences are along the lines of Arcade Fire,Elbow,HURTS, Etc...

but the same taste in music is not critical once were on the same wave length...

ideally we'd like to start off doing some covers,getting to know each other and each others music a bit better,then gradually write and produce our own stuff....


if you'd be interested give us a shout and we can meet up if you like and discuss some more....

hi man, looking for a bassist and a drummer to start an originals band. i do vocals and guitar, based on finglas, got a drumkit in the gaff (although a bit lousy, better bring your hihats and cimbals unless you don't mind these), on my 20's, writing my own stuff but would love to kick off with a few covers as well. i'm very into lou reed/velvet underground and bob dylan, picking up some neil young and david bowie now.
