House calls?

My sister is unable to make it down the stairs, suffering as she does with MS, but needs her teeth looked at urgently. Does anyone by any chance know of a dentist in the Dublin area who would do housecalls? I'd be very grateful for any suggestions. The idea may seem mad, but I don't know what else I can do, as I can't get her down the stairs --- well, probably with difficulty, but not back up... Thx Trollheart

Spooky the HSE in my area has a "special needs" dentist who attends to peoples dental problems when they are housebound/Hospital/Hospice. He has a portable dental unit that can be plugged in. I used to do "domicillary" visits years ago when I was in the Medical card Scheme but I could only make dentures/do extractions etc, I did not have the equipment to do fillings outside the surgery. Contact your main local HSE dental clinic and ask for an emergency home visit, they should be able to help.

That's wonderful news. I had hardly dared think such a service even existed. I'll contact them tomorrow. Thx again! :)
