    My phone somehow changed to the QWERTY keyboard and I want the T9 keypad - how do I change to this???

    Don't have this phone, but I expect it is one of 2 ways.

    1. Long press in a text box (in any app), and a menu should pop-up, press input method, this should give you a list of the available types of keyboard, if you see T9 or an alternative try that (you can always switch back by same method)

    2. If above doesn't work, on home screen press Menu-> Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Now press whichever keyboard you are using (you should know this from step 1, and it's settings should pop come up with Keyboard Type as one of the options -> select Phone keypad instead of QWERTY -hey presto

    While you are at it why not try some of the other keyboards such as Swype, shapewriter or even the gingerbread keyboard.

    Never heard of them!

    Just checked out Swype on youtube! Must download it tomorrow! Looks cool!

    Swype on the V845 screen is a nightmare. Anything on that screen is a nightmare!

    I've gone back to using a sh1tty Nokia until I can make up my mind about which decent droid to get.
