    Hi folks,

What would the best way to connect up CCTV/Fergison 200 HD combo to TV.?
At present I have two coaxial cables coming from attic to back of TV. One of the coax cable for CCTV is plugged directly into back of TV. The other is connected to the Sky box.

I realize that I will need the two coaxial cables for saorview/Freeview. Can I get the CCTV into this loop without having to get a third coaxial to the TV.?

Could the CCTV and Saorview be joined in the attic and both signals be sent down one cable to TV.?

    Thanks..

Yes, you need a diplexer that will allow the two signals to be joined. I assume you can change the modulator freq on the CCTV so it does not interfere with Saorview. You could the do the same trick with the Sky signal and have it all down the one cable. You would then need a splitter at the bottom the split off the Sky signal.:)

Thank you Sam for that advice. Another question..? I use a sky eye to get the sky signal into the TV in my kitchen.

If I use a diplexer to combine the signal. Can I still use the sky eye.? Is there a way to send the combined signal to the second TV.? Would I have to get a second freesat box for the second TV.?

    Thanks again...

I know nothing about Sky or their eye, so I can't help you their. I have Freesat and am delighted withit, especially the bit where the TV service bill doesn't land on the mat each month.

The diplexer can combine the terrestrial aerial signal with cctv & this can be plugged into Skybox RF in.

RF1 can feed the main tv with terr. + cctv signal & RF2 can feed this combined with the Skybox output to the kitchen tv, while also allowing magic eye operation (presume it's cable direct to tv).
Just make sure the various modulator & terr. channels don't clash.

There's no need to combine the sat. & terr. signals in the loft.
