    Hi, does anyone know where the filter is located for a vw polo 02

    Its on the engine ;)

    As you look under the bonnet its slightly to the left and below the exhaust manifold.

    Edit> But thats just where it is on one of the families 02 Polo's and there are a few engine types so it could be hiding somewhere else on yours.

    I'd be looking a little lower just behind the alternatorand below the LHS of the exhaust manifold VW Polo 02 1.4 petrol

    In that case its on the top, left and front of the engine, as you look into the engine bay. Its a paper filter under a black plastic cap with a 30mm I think hex head on it.
