Last time people wore second hand clothes was the 80s and early 90s when times were tough.
Things are good in Ireland now.

    Oh wait.... :/

    Ew. No.

Although I did work in one of the Oxfam shops in town for awhile before and some of the stuff that people donated was just messed up. Bras/underwear were a regular, although we never sold them, just binned it. But got a black bin bag full on s&m gear before, bondage masks, leather chaps, whips the lot. In the very bottom of the bag was three unopened condoms. Bizarre.

Seriously? All we ever had as kids was a sock drawer. First up most likely to find a matching pair.

    Big families rawck.

Lol the mother grouping them by colour. And even they didn't have to be the same color. Stripes on one sock. Diamond shapes on the other. Classic :D The hot press was cool :P

dont suppose anybody remembers the paisley patterned polyester y-fronts underpants in the early 80's? crack the "gum" off and wear 'em again for a week, and that was after they'd been passed down from brother to brother!

don't even get me started on socks, lucky to find one sock without a hole in the heel, let alone find two! as for matching? we'd swap them around if one of us had a sock the other one needed to make a pair! that was after we'd kicked each other black and blue first tho... well, who "wanted" to wear the odd socks?

Underwear and beer is best bought fresh.

When I was checking out of a hotel on Copenhagen about 5 years ago, I looked under the bed, found a pair of socks, and threw them in the laundry bag. It was only after I did laundry at home that I noticed that they weren't mine. They were almost new, and I still wear them sometimes. Nothing bad has happened yet. :o

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

i love second hand shops, found many a nice item alot of which i still wear now.. but would never buy second hand underwear.. in fact i don't recall ever seeing any for sale..

but sometimes if there are no clean boxers in my drawer ill rob some of my bros, so thats kind of second hand, but they are always clean

I used to work in an open air boot fair/market in offaly and we used to sell used underwear, bra's the lot. But not because we wanted too....... they just always sold the dirty bastards! By far the worst secoud hand item i've sold has to be a used dildo!!!!
