    Hi Folks

    Just want to let people know that this race has now opened for registration.

    This is a very well run and challenging race, one worth doing.

    It takes place on the 24th July.

    I signed up for my first Olympic distance, after looking at the video Im wondering if it was a wise decision :p

    From what little Ive heard it was well run last year.

    This is a great race, a true tester of your character.
    This race is now in its 4th year. I did it twice and the Wicklow Tri guys really know how to put on an event
    Sadly this clashes with HIM Humbert challenge again for me, and it been a local race kills me missing it

    Would the beast of the east be a good race to do in preparation for the galway ironman 70.3 im looking for races to do in the build up to galway and like the sound of this.

    It's a great race in prepartion for the half. I did it last year and really enjoyed it. Its a tough race, one of the toughest out there, but its well ran and its a great course.

    <mod>
    see charter
    If you want to look for (or sell) race numbers because you forgot to enter on time then check that the race allows transfers (most don't). Forward the link or email which states transfers are allowed to the mods before posting your request. We'll close any threads that don't do this.
