New radio for 2003 polo

Half thinking of putting a new radio in my 2003 polo. Something with aux minimum, bluetooth if the price was right (cheap as possible).

I fabricated to "keys" to get the radio out, easily done.

My question is though, halfords' website says any radio I want needs a wiring kit of some sort.

If at all possible I'd like to get one that doesn't need this, for two reasons
    price
and extra hassle required with the kit. I'm not great at this but would easily manage just swapping it, no idea about a wiring kit etc.

any help hugely appreciated. oh, and don't have to use halfords

You'll need an adaptor to go from the VW socket in the car to the radio that you buy. The radio will most likely be standard ISO connection.

That, or you'd be cutting and soldering a lot of wires to make it fit.

    Right..

So I'm guessing pretty much all radios I'd find in shops will have these ISO connections, which are different to the standard VW connectors in my polo?

The halfords help which tells you if the radio will fit tells me I need a wiring adapter kit, as ive mentioned. Does anyone have any idea how easy it is to fit an adapter like this and then the radio?

Piece of pish. Plug wiring kit into the existing harness, plug other end into radio. Job's done.
