    Hey,

can anyone tell me how I can copy and paste from scanned text? I've scanned a newspaper article and I'd like to copy and paste it from acrobat into a word document.

    Thanks in advance!

You need to OCR it, I think this is built into Acrobat Reader but I don't have it installed to check.

Note it probably wont be 100% accurate because of the font and kerning in the newspaper.

If you scan to Jpeg you can insert the scan as an image, would this work?

If you happen to have an android phone you can install the new google docs app which allows you take a photo of text and it will preform OCR on it.
