    Just paid 60 odd euro for my FREE business cards form Vistaprint:(

    It is still cheaper than getting them locally and I have bought form them before so am aware of the underhand /sneaky tactics they use but this is the best yet (and I fell for it:p );
    they offered me a free thingy to carry around 14 or 15 business cards, Don't really need one but hey its free , I can give it to someone who will use it............... got charged over 4 euro postage+VAT on the Free gift lol!

    Obviously missed it in the small print and was really pissed on principle when I saw the invoice (and the amount of times the word 'free' appears is ridiculous:rolleyes:)
    Sent a snotty email on impulse (ah well, we'll see how that goes)

    Watch out!!!! Rant over.....

    Funnilly enough I bought some stickers from vistaprint last night. No surprises when it came to the invoice but the delivery date seems crazy. I'm in no rush so i picked the standard delivery, I got an email today and was told it will be at least 21 days!!!!

    Is that a standard delivery time ?

    I was ordering wedding invitations yesterday. Started off looking like a bargain on VP but ended up a rip off. Found what I wanted on eBay for a much better price.

    Ha, cards arrived and guess what?... The FREE card holder that I paid over 4 euro shipping on , was in the box with the business cards!!!!!
    Do they not realise that they are just pi$$ing off their customers with this sneaky ****e?????

    @coalbucket- they want you to pay extra for quicker delivery.

    @samhail I bought 1000 and had to pay extra for uploading an image/ removing their ad from the back/inflated postage and tax.......

    Still cheapest around but at least be upfront about the costs.

    To be fair there is nothing hidden about the extra charges with Vistaprint if you read the small print at the bottom of the promotional emails and flyers. Taken from the last email I got from them:
    Offers expire May 12th 2011. Excludes VAT. Additional charges will apply for postage and processing, product upgrades and photo/logo uploads unless otherwise specified. Other fees may apply if your order contains multiple free products. Discounts valid only on lowest quantity of each product. Discounts not valid on previous purchases or in combination with any other offers. See web site for details.

    They got two attempts to print my new cards and f'd them up twice, a dark red coming out brown, they just refunded me so I ended up getting 1000 cards (albeit not the correct colour) for nothing. :)

    If you upload your image using a sample business card , you can later use the same image on your official business card and you will not have to pay for uploading image
